3. Poker betting rules

Table Limits
Table limits refer to the amount of money you can bet in a game. The three types of limits are:

No Limit This is the way Texas Hold ’em is played. You can put all your chips in the pot if you choose. There’s no limit to the amount you bet in each round.

Pot Limit The most you can bet or raise is controlled by the amount that’s already in the pot at the time of betting. This type of play can get very expensive.

Fixed Limit You can only bet or raise according to what’s been set by the table (this is the same amount as the blind). The betting is fixed and the game is very controlled.
